She was born in 1982 in Karadeniz Ereğli (Türkiye). She graduated from Karadeniz Anatolian High School (2000).
She graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Psychology (2005). She completed her master's degree in the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Near East University (2010). She completed her doctoral thesis in Maltepe University Developmental Psychology by presenting his doctoral thesis titled "Examination of memory errors in four different age groups in terms of the development of semantic memory" (2012-2016). She became Assistant Professor in 2017 and Associate Professor in 2023.
She has several national and international book chapters, articles and papers published in the field of social, sexual and cognitive development in children and adolescents and continues her academic studies. She has been working as a lecturer at the University since 2017, and she continues to serve as the Head of the Department in 2020.
